I enjoy using portable software for many tasks in my computer. Portable applications are very useful and flexible. Need not have administrative rights to use the program, just click on exe file to use the software.

But, when we use any portable software a Splash Screen with the name of the program will be displayed on the startup.

Suppose you are using Mplayer to play music video, when you click on Mplayer a splash screen will be displayed, showing the name of the application.

If you want to get rid of this Splash Screen, then all you have to do is follow these Simple Steps.

• Go to Mplayer > MplayerPortable > Other > Source you will find MPlayerPortable.ini file or else just use the windows search option to find ‘MPlayerPortable.ini’ File.

• Open the MPlayerPortable.ini file with notepad.

• Change DisableSplashScreen=false to DisableSplashScreen=true and save the file.

• Finally, move the MplayerPortable.ini file to Folder where Mplayer.exe file is located

Now when you reopen the mplayer the Splash Screen won’t be displayed.
