Avira has released new version of its AntiVir with improved user interface. The Avira Antivirus for personal use is available for free download.

In this new release, the most awaited behavior blocking component Avira AntiVir ProActiv has been embedded. It monitors for suspicious activity in the computer and blocks it from running.

‘Generic Repair’ will remove infections from computer along with registry files left by any virus.

More features have been added to Parental controls in Avira Premium Security Suite. Parents can restrict the time of Internet usage and set exact hour of a day to use Internet.
