Twitter has released its official Twitter App for Android cell phone. Android users can now tweet and share contents using Twitter’s official Android Application.

Users can easily access timeline with the home screen widget, view a tweet location on a map and have a look at friend’s latest tweet from phonebook, GoogleTalk list or any application that uses Android’s QuickContact bar.

Currently, Twitter App is only available for Android 2.1 and above.
